Punjabi Girl Charmi, who has made her T – Town debut as a Heroine, a decade ago, with the film ‘Nee Thodu Kaavaali’, later moved to K – Town, done some films with popular Heroes there, such as Simbhu and re entered into T – Town, with a film opposite Srikanth, Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Sree Aanjaneyam’ and so on. Charmi, who acted only in dignified roles in the initial stages of her acting career, did not take much time to shed all the inhibitions and do one of the most bold and Sexy roles in most of her films and even in some item songs and song sequences in the films, in which she played a lead role.
On the other hand, there were many rewarding roles that enhanced Charmi’s acting skills in the movies like ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’, ‘Mantra’, ‘Mangala’, ‘Nagaram Nidrapotunna Vela’ and so on. This non Telugu speaking girl, learnt the language, started dubbing for her own roles and even lends voice to Kajal in Krishna Vamsi’s directorial ‘Chandamama’.
Recently, Charmi has made her B – Town debut playing a role opposite Amitabh Bacchan in Puri Jagannath’s directorial ‘Buddah Hoga Tera Baap’. The film turned out to be a success and even people started recognizing Charmis’ acting skills. This lucky Actress has bagged another B – Town film titled ‘Jilla Ghaziabad’, that includes the star cast like Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi, Arshad Warsi. The film will be going on location soon
